The Zoomie is a term given for a greyhound’s sudden attack of speed. 

 
Designed mainly as a dining table seating bench, the Zoomie comes in two sizes, seating two and four persons. If you're short on space and like to build projects, this module doubles as a practical work bench. The clamping and sawing capabilities of this workhorse should not be underestimated. Combined with the Veritas hardware, the bench allows work to be clamped down securely, in either horizontal and vertical holding positions, by way of fixings in the top and legs. Other clamps and holdfasts that work on a 19mm system can easily be added. The saw stop comes as standard and again allows the work piece to be held for planeing and clamping.  The split top allows ripping through the central section and birds eye 45 degree at the front end allows for mitre cuts. There is an added option of a leather saw holder for either Western or Japanese saws. This piece will sit happily in a period, industrial or contemporary space.
